The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a certificate that recognises the successful completion of secondary education in Victoria. It is a valuable pathway to further study at university, TAFE institutes and to employment.
Using brain-based learning Protypo VCE students develop and extend their Greek skills, revising vocabulary, experiencing immersion with listening and speaking, consolidating grammatical structures and applying these to their writing, lifting the standard of their results. Our VCE classes assist students to reflect, edit and learn from mistakes, creating a positive growth mindset. Our results speak for themselves with the Premier’s VCE top state result and 100% pass rate with many students achieving 40 and above placing them in the top 3% of the state. Our results link to an understanding that learning is cumulative. Protypo teachers work with a strong scope and sequence and backward curriculum mapping. Our goal is to secure success for all students who decide to complete the VCE.
Please note that an entry exam is required for new students wanting to enrol at Protypo in Years 9 to VCE. Our VCE classes run on the following days and times throughout the school terms:
